10 Reasons DC Rules Superhero TV

1. Arrow

Having just entered its third season, Arrow is on the fast-track to becoming one of the most beloved adaptations of a superhero ever. Every week is a thrill ride that plays like a mini movie, filled to the brim with action, espionage and even some romance if you're lucky. It's the ace in the hole of the DC television universe, the backbone to the whole thing that you can always come back to. The characterization of Oliver Queen has been great to watch, as Amell is a magnetic screen presence that instantly draws you into every scene that he's in. The supporting cast is also something special, from the sturdy appeal of David Ramsay's portrayal of John Diggle all the way to Emily Bett Rickards' addictive take on Felicity Smoak. These are people you just love to watch every week, and it's all thanks to the terrific people involved. A stellar cast, razor sharp scripts and an overarching mythology that feels like the familiar Green Arrow story, but also has a fresh perspective. Arrow has seen an insane leap in quality from season one to three; where the first season could have become very stale, the producers managed to give it an adrenaline shot in season two that elevated it from a simple superhero tv series to destination television. And now, it's your turn. Sound off in the comments and let us know what you think. Are you enjoying DC's tv shows? Which one is your favorite? Tell us below!
