5. Fantastic Music
The opening theme for Daredevil, composed by John Paesano, creeps up throughout the seasons in different variations. Paesano, known for composing the music for the Maze Runner films and 2018's Spider-Man video game, also provided the music for The Defenders. Themes continue through each season, and can sometimes be pretty hair raising.
Jessica Jones' music has a fitting film-noir vibe. Composer Sean Callery revealed that he wrote the music with Jones' dry humour and playfulness in mind - this definitely comes across in the rock-tinged jazziness.
Luke Cage probably boasts the most impressive music, with a soundtrack composed by rapper Ali Shaheed Muhammad and Adrian Younge. It's hip-hop tinged, but has elements of a good few other genres. One of the high points of the series, though, is Method-Man's cameo and exclusive song: "Bulletproof Love".
