10 Reasons Netflix's Marvel Is Definitely Worth Your Time
3. Brilliant Acting
From rising talent to megastars, there are some great performances here. Charlie Cox had already made a name for himself in films like Stardust, but he showed his darker side in Daredevil. Krysten Ritter, perhaps best known as Jane in Breaking Bad, brought that gravitas to the role of Jessica Jones.
Also playing to his previous strengths is Jon Bernthal, in the role of Frank Castle. It's a similar role to The Walking Dead's Shane, but he turns that rage to ten in The Punisher. Scarily, Bernthal is a method actor who stays in character after the day's shoot. Wouldn't want to cut in front of him on the drive home.
Netflix's Marvel is also host to acting royalty, with appearances from respected Hollywood names. Scott Glenn plays Stick, Matt Murdock's mentor, and Sigourney Weaver plays the villainous Alexandra in The Defenders. And let's not forget David Tennant in Jessica Jones - he almost steals the show.
