10 Reasons Why Bob's Burgers Is Better Than Family Guy
4. More Inclusive
Right from the very beginning, Bob’s Burgers has had a great handle on representing people all of backgrounds. Within the ensemble, we’re provided with characters that are of ethnic minority, part of the LGBT+ community and disabled. Occasionally, the show does lean into stereotypes, but never to the point where it becomes insulting. In short, they are simply treated as regular people, reaffirming the importance of love and acceptance.
Technically, Family Guy features several characters of all kinds of race, religion, sexuality and background, more so than Bob’s Burgers does. But how many of them AREN’T reduced to just a one-note caricature with the same catchphrase repeated over and over again?
Bob's Burgers defeats stereotyping, whilst Family Guy just feeds into it.
