10 Reasons Why Bob's Burgers Is Better Than Family Guy

One of the greatest advantages going for Bob’s Burgers is their method of recording lines and how it translates through the show. Instead of being recorded separately, the cast come together in the studio to record their dialogue live over an ISDN line (some actors are based in New York whilst others are in Los Angeles, which is what makes this possible). It makes all the difference because the delivery of certain lines and comical timing is vastly improved.

In fairness, the actors behind Family Guy have provided some very comical performances but the characters simply don’t bounce off each other like the Belchers do. It just sounds like a lot of them are going through the motions, unlike the cast of Bob’s Burgers who are clearly enjoying every minute, thus creating a much livelier atmosphere.

Furthermore, the voice actors of Bob’s Burgers typically only have one or two roles to voice, meaning more accuracy on characterisation.
