5. Elaine Benes
The only female of the foursome. Elaine more then holds her own. She's smart, confident and has a certain grace about her. Except of course when she's dancing. She goes through men like they're going out of style. So whether if she's determining if a guy is 'sponge worth' or just trying to find a man in general, she comes across as one of the guys most of the time which just makes her all the more relate able. Her short temper, quick to snap and superficial attitude is what has made her such a funny character over the years. If she's not ripping George's toupee off his head and throwing it out the window then you can bet your ass she's doing something else just as funny. Like the time she dragged Jerry and George with her to her friend Sue Ellen Mischkie's wedding in India purely based on spite, thinking Sue Ellen really didn't want her show up. Elaine, excited to see Sue Ellen's face when she arrived was shocked when Sue Ellen happily greeted her and asked her to be her maid of honor. All is well in the world, right? Not quite, it gets revealed that Elaine slept with Sue Ellen's groom Peter years ago aaaand hilariousness ensues. Or perhaps the time she put 'The Soup Nazi' out of business (pictured above) and ruined what appeared to be the best soup shop EVER just because she didn't like the guy... "NEXT!" The Elaine character stands tall on this list at #4. She was the only woman in a mans world but you couldn't even tell the difference. She played her role to perfection. Well done Ms. Benes, well done indeed.
