10 Reasons Why The Office Season 9 Should Be The Show's Last

5. Less Jim and Andy

Of course, I have just criticised these two characters. However, even Jim at 60% is funnier than the majority of characters on the show, and he's one of the few people on television that can make you laugh with a simple facial expression, and he has a plethora of those. Meanwhile, Andy, although his character was written extremely poorly in the last season, is played by Ed Helms, who due to his part in The Hangover series, is popular enough to bring in plenty of ratings. It has been announced that Krasinski and Helms will appear in significantly less episodes next season due to a number of films each of them are working on. Not only does this signal the show dipping in priority to the two actors, it will also attract far less viewers due to their high profiles and pulling power.
