10 Reasons Why The Walking Dead Is Currently Better Than Ever

Here's your friendly reminder that Judith Grimes has been around since the beginning of Season Three. The daughter of Lori Grimes and Shane Walsh, raised by Rick and Michonne and protected later on by the likes of Daryl and Negan, it's fair to say that fans were looking forward to seeing what she'd be like grown up.

Thanks to the aforementioned time jump, audiences were introduced to an older Judith sooner than expected. With Carl and Rick gone, it was Judith's turn to step up to the plate and carry on her family legacy.

Played by Cailey Fleming, Judith remains one of The Walking Dead's best characters. Tough, wise beyond her years, caring and moral, she represents what the world could be, and what the rest of the Survivors are fighting for.

She's also the same age Carl was at the beginning of the show, and though it's sad that he's gone, it's great to see Judith take his place as the show's symbol for the future.
