10 Reasons Why The Walking Dead Should Just End Already

6. The Pace Never Picks Up

Long scenes of characters giving each other meaningful looks, and innocent scenes of community bonding through building, cooking, and growing have been the norm throughout the series. I mean, how long did they stay in that damn farm? I don’t even remember.

Sure, climaxes come with zombie invasions and villains, but the majority of the time is broken down by meaningless character time, and similar plots. Things picked up some seasons, but the slow, non-moving pace returns, and people start gardening again.

All I want is season 7 to be an awesome last season, with a fast-paced, intense run-up to an epic finale. Please, Santa?

I like to think of myself as a world traveler and social butterfly, although I do spend a lot of my time watching the latest Japanese anime series, sitcoms, movies, and drama series. I live on the island of Crete, where I was born, and enjoy walking on the beach with my little cocker spaniel, Molly, when I'm not writing for WhatCulture.com and UNILAD.co.uk.
