10 Reasons Why The Walking Dead Should Just End Already

5. The Romantic Pairings Aren’t Working

Instead of legendary Daryl scenes and zombies attacks, it seems that characters shooting each other loving glances, and Cupid fuelling unlikely matches is what we’re seeing more of. Michonne and Rick came and went pretty quick.

The Jessie and Rick situation disappeared out of nowhere, and Abraham and Sasha was well, short-lived, to say the least. Bet Abraham feels pretty dumb for dumping Rosita. Or no, he probably doesn’t.

These quick, meaningless romances are boring. Writers might hope that a romance followed subsequently by the death of one of the two will add emotional depth, but it’s really just starting something and ending it before it even had time to sink in. By now we all know what to expect, and it’s not a happy ending.

I like to think of myself as a world traveler and social butterfly, although I do spend a lot of my time watching the latest Japanese anime series, sitcoms, movies, and drama series. I live on the island of Crete, where I was born, and enjoy walking on the beach with my little cocker spaniel, Molly, when I'm not writing for WhatCulture.com and UNILAD.co.uk.
