10 Reasons You’re Wrong About Fear The Walking Dead

Tantalising opening season? Or money-spinning failure?

Just like that, Fear The Walking Dead has come to a crashing, flashing end. Its 6-episode run was over quickly, but it has already left an impression on the fans, though not all are won over just yet. Fans will always be skeptical of new companion series' based on colossal shows, and The Walking Dead's equivalent has been no exception. Over 10 million people tuned in for Fear The Walking Dead's Pilot, a record for a debut episode, but the numbers have tailed off and opinions have been divided over the show. There has been a fine balance of hugely positive comments and disillusioned fans, but who is right? One of the major complaints against the show has quite simply been about the poor characters. You only need to look past the fact that they aren't Rick, Daryl, Glenn, Maggie or the rest of the Walking Dead favourites to see that there really are some good Fear characters. There's no definitive leading star, but that's not a bad thing at all. At first Maddie was pushed to the fore, and she was showcased as a very good inclusion in the show, but the two best characters to date were co-conspirators during the last two episodes of the season. Nick has been fascinating to watch so far and different to anybody in Fear or TWD. Meanwhile, Strand (cufflinks guy) is the coolest man in town. He's smooth, suave, slick and absolutely commanding. "The only way to survive a mad world is to embrace the madness." We're gonna stick on this guy's team...
