10 Reasons You’re Wrong About Fear The Walking Dead

9. Refreshing Changes Of Scenery

Fans have criticised the show's tendency to namedrop L.A. as often as possible, and maybe they have a point. Not a episode goes by without the smoky skyline rising up, and you can even see it in the top right of this parting shot at the end of the finale. But look at everything else surrounding the iconic Downtown. Cliffs, the gorgeous ocean, the palm trees, the dusty dirt tracks and once-buzzing seaside beach homes. This is something that TWD severely lacked, a simple change of scenery. It's great that the original show explored Georgia, the area around Atlanta, and is now based on the outskirts of Washington D.C., but the whole thing is all very green, very lush, and very similar. Fear has shown fans a range of settings already, and there's no guarantees what the overall look of Season 2 will be.
