4. Shock Horror
The Walking Dead peaks during its shocking moments, and Fear is following in those footsteps with a few eye-opening glimpses of the brutal world that awaits the group in Season 2. In the finale we saw Andy, the tortured soldier, turn the tables on Daniel. He's all set to shoot, but instead fires at Ofelia. At the risk of sounding too bloodthirsty, a highly-trained soldier should have been able to kill at close range, and if Ofelia had died, the impact of the moment would've been even greater. But there was still time for the serenity of the episode ending to be interrupted by Liza's bite revelation and subsequent mercy-killing. Fear is already providing genuine shocks on top of jump-scares, long may it last.
