5. Fans Get Answers

The Walking Dead is a great show but it's got to the point where the old world and answers about how the whole disaster kicked off were completely buried. There's no way that the show will rewind to explore the origins, but when Fear was announced to be set at the time of the outbreak, fans were excited for answers. It is disappointing that a 'Patient Zero' story hasn't and probably won't be looked at, and that has switched many fans off, but there have still been plenty of answers regarding the method behind how the world collapsed. Fans wondered how the walkers could've possibly overpowered the force of the military, but Fear shows us that the soldiers involved are simply humans looking to survive themselves and they disbanded as the walkers took a stranglehold of major cities.
