Another mystery now, we’re going across the pond from British drama to American melodrama! Clickbait is an eight episode miniseries unfolding the story of missing father Nick Brewer, who appears in an online video alleging to be an abuser of women who will be killed when the video reaches five million views.
Rushing against the clock (or rather, the view count) the police and Nick’s family are put in a bizarre position. Not only do they need to find Nick and the people keeping him captive, but figure out the truth behind the allegations.
It’s a fun, modern mystery that’s a bit different from things you’ve seen before. And trust me, the ending is so insane that there’s no way you could predict it, even if - like me - you consider yourself a bit of a TV detective.
