And while on the subject of green mistakes, HBO's recent Game of Thrones prequel series House of the Dragon initially unleashed a rather amusing CGI blunder during its third episode.

With King Viserys ultimately losing some of his fingers after cutting his hand on the Iron Throne early on in the season, Paddy Considine's deteriorating Targaryen is ultimately seen handing a letter over to one of his soldiers. But eagle-eyed viewers were able to actually spot what initially looked like a strange miracle.

After sporting a set of very much amputated fingers moments earlier in another scene, Viserys' hand appeared to have remarkably regrown a set of bright green digits!

That rather stunning oversight, with someone clearly just forgetting to digitally edit out the king's missing fingers, quickly made the rounds online, and joined the likes of the modern coffee cup cameo in Game of Thrones as another unintentionally hilarious Westeros error.

And while HBO would confirm that this embarrassing mistake would be edited out of the episode ASAP (via Variety), the CGI-less damage had already been done.
