Fan-favourite episode Rick Potion #9 sees Morty pleading Rick to create a love potion to allow him to woo his classmate Jessica. In classic Rick fashion, however, his concoction goes horribly wrong when it couples with Jessica's flu, goes airborne, and makes everyone on the entire planet fall in love with Morty. Gross.

But it's when Rick tries to fix things that they take a turn into truly horrifying territory. He creates a new potion which is supposed to neutralise the love bug, but instead turns everyone into bugs: mutant mantis people, to be precise... and they still want to hook up with Morty. Oh no.

In a final effort to make everything go back to normal, Rick creates another potion which turns everyone into terrifying fleshy amalgams which Rick affectionately nicknames "Cronenbergs", and it looks like living hell.

They're forced to stay that way, too, since Rick quickly realises his screw-up is irreversible and abandons the dimension entirely. Wonder how those eldritch horrors are getting on these days...
