Mirror Master is another of the Flash's more iconic and beloved foes, and has been for over fifty years. Four characters have donned the guise of Mirror Master over the years, most notably of which are Samuel Joseph Scudder and Evan McCulloch. Scudder (the current New 52 Mirror Master) was a simple convict, who one day stumbled upon a hall of mirrors and experimented until he found a way to get inside his own reflection. This power over mirrors granted him several abilities, including the power to travel through them and trap others inside of them. He can also produce fantastical effects, such as invisibility, hypnotism, holograms, and even travel into other dimensions or parallel universes. McCulloch, on the other hand, was an orphaned Scottish mercenary, who traveled across Europe in search of his birth parents, and along the way turned to a life of crime and became one of the most renowned mercenaries and assassins in the United Kingdom. He was eventually recruited by the U.S. government and given the costume and weapons of Samuel Scudder in exchange for his services in taking out super-powered beings. Because of his status as the current Mirror Master, it's probably safe to assume that Samuel Scudder will be the Mirror Master on the Flash series, assuming he makes an appearance, of course.
