10 Secret Subplots You Learn From Watching Parks & Recreation Deleted Scenes

1. Andy's Wiping Problem

The season four episode "Campaign Ad" features a scene where Andy visits the doctor, but by far the funniest and most revealing moment was sadly cut out, presumably because it ultimately turns into more of a blooper than a usable deleted scene.

When Andy starts listing the various maladies afflicting him, in the cut gag he reveals that he has a wiping problem - "Sometimes when I wipe, I'll wipe, and I'll wipe, and I'll wipe, and I'll wipe...a hundred times. Still poop, still poop. It's like I'm wiping a marker or something."

Understandably this had to be cut because Aubrey Plaza couldn't stop herself from corpsing in plain sight of the camera, which no amount of editing could fix.

Even so, it's quite the evocative glimpse into just how much of a medical trainwreck Andy truly is, and it would've been funny enough to include no matter that it showed April experiencing actual joy.
