2. Garth's Full Star Wars Filibuster

The season five episode "Article Two" features a memorable appearance from the great Patton Oswalt as Garth Blundin, a Pawnee citizen who filibusters Leslie when she tries to change Pawnee's town charter by laboriously explaining his ideas for the at-the-time upcoming Star Wars: Episode VII.

In the original episode, we only hear Blundin talk about Boba Fett being revealed as alive, the Reality Stone linking the Star Wars and Marvel Cinematic Universes, robot Chewbacca, and Luke Skywalker (Mark Hamill) slicing Hannibal Lecter in half, but his original filibuster was actually much, much longer than that.

In the deleted, extended version of the scene, Blundin lets loose for eight full minutes with an epic monologue which Oswalt claims was entirely improvised.

Its choice moments include Thanos (Josh Brolin), the Greek Gods from the Clash/Wrath of the Titans, the X-Men, and the Fantastic Four all showing up, Han Solo (Harrison Ford) cameoing with Chewie's severed head, and Lando (Billy Dee Williams) and Leia (Carrie Fisher) revealing they are having an affair.

After all this, an exasperated Oswalt finally asks for a cut. Insert joke here about Oswalt screwing up the Star Wars universe less egregiously than the sequel trilogy actually did.
