10 Seinfeldisms That Became Part Of Our Everyday Life

1. Yada Yada Yada

Looking back at The Yada Yada, it still stands as one of Seinfeld's best episodes, especially in the largely hit-and-miss season eight. It gave us such quotable gems like "You’re an Anti-Dentite!" and "I really wanted you." But neither of those gave the episode its name.

First uttered by George’s girlfriend Marcy, "Yada yada yada" became a convenient story-telling crutch for the rest of the characters by the end of the episode, with its power showing to be, quite frankly, remarkable. It can be used for everything from cutting a long and winding story short, to glossing over the incredibly suspicious death of your wife. Might not hold in a courtroom, though.

Twenty-five years later and the power of its practicality has hardly waned. We started this list talking about Tim Whatley being a re-gifter and, yada yada yada, now it's over.
