10 Shocking Twists That Would Improve Major TV Shows

6. The Walking Dead €“ Kill All Of The Main Characters

All of them, and I mean all of them. Let's face it, people don't watch The Walking Dead because of the characters, they watch it because a (relatively) big-budget take on the zombie apocalypse is a great idea for a serialized TV show. And, as you may have noticed, they already have killed off quite a few of their primary cast members. But The Walking Dead should take a page out of American Horror Story's playbook and become an anthology series about surviving in a zombified world. I know this would break from the plot of the graphic novels, but the show has already done that on multiple occasions. Staying true to the source material isn't the most important thing in the world, but maintaining excitement for a show in which a zombie attack can occur at any time should be easier than it apparently is for the writers. Why not shift focus to another group trying to stay alive before the walkers can get to them? If they don't want to kill all of their characters off, they can simply shift focus to another group and then have original cast members come back to make appearances as they join the new group. Either way, The Walking Dead should make a big change soon so they don't bore their sizable audience.
