10 Simple Fixes That Would Save The Walking Dead

The Walking Dead may be a great show, but it's not perfect yet.

It may seem churlish to suggest ways to save a TV show that has already turned a corner of late, but no matter how good a show is there€™s always room for improvement. When The Walking Dead first graced our screens it was clear early on that Frank Darabont€™s version of the Robert Kirkman comics was going to be something special. Through Season 2 (aka the farm series) and even the Governor stories there were dips and the show was bogged down for a while. Season 5 took a definite turn for the better and has been a belter so far. Well-liked characters have been killed off (it's one of the joys of the show); when the tension mounts, no one is safe. Beyond Hannibal, there are few other shows that can have the audience find themselves holding their breath involuntarily, or instinctively cringing back in their seats. The recent return of after the mid-season five break took fans on another rollercoaster - a brilliant character was lost and there were some excellent set pieces. But there are still rumblings among the fans that it€™s all a bit €œsamey€, and there are some things that irk. So let€™s take a look at 10 ways to make this improving show even better.
