8. Drederick Tatum Is Springfield's Mike Tyson
If you're a fan of The Simpsons, and have never seen boxing or the first two Hangover movies, then you're the only person unaware of this connection. Drederick Tatum is clearly a Simpsons-universe's version of Mike Tyson. From his appearance (discounting his initial appearance in Season 2's "Homer vs. Lisa and the 8th Commandment") to his high-pitched, lispy voice, to his history of violent crime ("Believe me, my god, if I could turn back the clock on my mother's stair-pushing, I would certainly, reconsider it") to his collection of wild animals at his mansion. Even Tyson's manager/promoter is parodied on The Simpsons. Throughout his career, Mike Tyson was often seen side-by-side with boxing promoter Don King; next to Drederick Tatum has been Lucius Sweet ("He's exactly as rich and as famous as Don King, and he looks just like him!") Sweet is voiced by Paul Winfield, who- coincidentally- played Don King in the 1995 made-for-TV movie Tyson.
