10 Sketchiest TV Businesspeople Of All Time

2. George Bluth - Arrested Development

The Simpsons Mr Burns
Netflix

The story of the Bluth family was one of bad decisions and illegal business dealings. Every member of the family was morbidly awful and irredeemable, even the relatively good ones. Michael Bluth was a terrible person by most people's standards but by Bluth standards he was basically a saint.

At the core of the Bluths was the patriarch George. He ran the Bluth Company, a home developer under investigation by the government for a variety of issues. The very first episode featured his arrest, an incident that drove the entire run of the original three seasons.

While the US government eventually cleared him of the light treason charges as they were the ones who set him up for them in the first place, George was still guilty of dozens of other crimes. Somehow, he was cleared of those charges, as well. Many of George's businesses were straight up scams that just ended up screwing his own twin brother.
