In the trailer, we see a number of Elves gathering for a ceremony in a heavenly forest brimming with luscious flora. Naturally, many assume this scene takes place in Galadriel's home, Lothlorien, which appeared in The Fellowship of the Ring.

However, this realm is a place yet to appear in live-action: Lindon. Lindon was originally populated by the green-skinned Laiquendi Elves and is renowned for harbouring countless waterfalls (which can be seen in the trailer). But after the Elven land of Beleriand was decimated during The First Age, the only place in the region that survived was Lindon, compelling the Elven High King, Gil-galad, to turn the land into the primary base for his people.

Sadly, Lindon suffered a similar fate as Beleriand. When Numenor was wiped off the map, it generated tidal waves across Lindon, shrinking the Elven realm to a fraction of its former glory. Left with no choice, the majority of Gil-galad's people abandoned Lindon and settled in new habitats, including Lothlorien. Because Numenor's doomed fate is set in stone, it's likely we'll see Lindon being wiped out at some point on the show.
