10 Small Details You Missed In The Lord Of The Rings: The Rings Of Power Trailer

With any adaptation of Tolkien's work, we're expecting to see whimsical characters, otherworldly landscapes, and magical creatures. But there is one element that's also part and parcel of any Middle-Earth saga - war. And we know for certain The Rings of Power will have its fair share of fights and skirmishes since the teaser shows the Elves in the midst of war.

However, this shot also gives us our first glimpse of Galadriel's brother, Finrod Felagund, portrayed by Will Fletcher. Even though there are many legendary Elves, Finrod is right at the top. He was the first Noldorin Elf to encounter Men, built Minas Tirith with his own hands, and was the first Elf to be reincarnated by the Valar (much like how Gandalf was resurrected in The Two Towers.)

Although many believe the battle in the teaser is from The Last Alliance of Men and Elves, Finrod was killed by The Dark Lord's forces before that encounter. Since The Rings of Power revolves around Galadriel avenging her brother, we can presume Finrod will be bite the dust in the conflict seen in this shot.
