3. Sherlock
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JxjhrZ47FiU Victim: The Bee Gee's Staying Alive Now famous for being the song to which one should perform CPR chest compressions, the Bee Gees 1983 disco track Staying Alive has a far more sinister and violent meaning thanks to the incredibly popular BBC television program, Sherlock. The secretive and elusive mastermind James Jim Moriarty conducts much of his business via his mobile phone. And what does a brilliant villain embroiled in a wicked scheme choose as his signature ringtone? The answer is evidently part of the Bee Gee's catalog. At the end of the first season the once popular opening portion of Staying Alive drifts through the area of an abandoned swimming pool, cutting through the tense emotions of a bomb-strapped John Watson and an always defiant Consulting Detective Sherlock Holmes. Perhaps it is an attempt to confuse Sherlock from being able to truly understand Jim Moriartys motives or maybe it is a true passion for the power of disco music, but Staying Alive is certainly an odd choice for a man who has spent so much time and effort to creatively kill and brilliantly manipulate the people of England. Jim Moriarty may violently threaten to make people who fail him into shoes, but he also has a taste for that groovy disco fever.
