10 South Park Characters You Totally Forgot Existed
7. Pip
Before Butters, there was Pip. Easily the most innocent of South Park children, he was always polite, kind, cheerful and often picked on by the other kids. But Pip is different to Butters because of his strong British accent. And moreover, he was a little bit TOO perfect and friendly, making him come across as flawlessly dull.
Because of his lack of humour, Pip never really found any footing into the show and got lost in the shuffle, whilst other characters were much funnier than him. It's even worse that Pip had his very own episode - a retelling of Charles Dickens' novel Great Expectations, with him at the centre of the story. Not only did it feel like a filler episode, it did nothing to develop his character, leaving no impact on audiences.
What some fans don't know is that Pip was killed off from the series permanently. His death occurred in the very controversial episode "201", which is very rarely aired on television or avaliable on boxsets/streaming services due to its shocking imagery. Because it's one of the least viewed episodes within the series, many viewers are unaware of Pip's brief character return and his death.
