10 South Park Fates Worse Than Death
1. Kenny's Curse
The longest running joke on South Park is how Kenny McCormick can't die. No matter how many times he is crushed, burned, blown up, drowned, or dismembered, the anorak-wearing child has been resurrected in the next episode. What's more bizarre is that none of his friends seem to notice or care.
For years, there seemed to be no reason behind Kenny's immortality. But in a trilogy of episodes, all was revealed.
Years ago, his mother, Carol, joined the Cult of Cthulhu so she could score some free beer. Sadly, associating with the cult cursed the soul of her son, Kenny, so he would never be at peace. If he dies, he will return to life the following morning. What's worse is that this spell causes everyone outside of Kenny's family to forget every time he is killed.
Kenny becomes so desperate for his friends to believe he's immortal, he shoots himself in the head in front of them. But the following day, they have no recollection of his demise.
What makes Kenny's curse more tragic is that he is not to blame for his circumstance. Because of the selfish actions of his parents, Kenny was damned before he was even born.
