The Ninth Doctor and Rose turn up in London during the middle of the Blitz, and from the moment they land odd things begin to happen - who called the TARDIS phone? Who is the child in the gasmask who Rose sees on top of a building? And why are the other local children so afraid of him? One of the first Doctor Who double-parters written by Steven Moffat before he took over as show runner, these episodes sent chills down audience's spines with its creepy, gas-masked child desperately looking for his mummy, and apparently infecting those who come to close, turning them into gas masked zombies - shown in one particularly skin-crawling scene where a medical doctor's face turns into the gas mask. It is also worth noting that this is the introductory episode for one of the Doctor's most beloved companions, Captain Jack Harkness.
