Clearly, the writers of Family Guy have a special place in their hearts for Star Trek: Deep Space Nine. While most guest stars only provide a few scenes or even a single line, however, one of these actors has truly gone above and beyond in her contribution to the show.

Nana Visitor, who played Kira Nerys on DS9, has lent her voice to several important characters over multiple episodes, as well as additional background voices in many others. From the repentant mother of a boy who steals Stewie's Halloween treats to the crack-smoking politician Nancy Pelosi, her voice talents can be heard all throughout the series.

But her biggest role is that of Rita, the 50-year-old woman whom Brian is briefly engaged to in 'Brian's Got a Brand New Bag'.

The Griffins mercilessly make fun of her age, which Brian ignores until he impulsively sleeps with a much younger girl in a bar. Rita breaks off the engagement, saying Brian isn't mature enough for her, and really shows her age by asking that he leave her house key on the davenport. A number of antiquated terms later, Brian throws the keys down and storms out, having no idea what she's talking about.
