10 Star Trek Characters Worthy Of A Resurrection

2. Jadzia

For this entry, we'd like to suggest something a little out of the box. What would it look like to bring Jadzia back to life - a Jadzia that is the same one we saw die at Dukat's Pah-Wraith possessed hands - but without the Dax symbiont, which has already passed on to Ezri?

So, it would be Jadzia returning to life, but not Jadzia Dax. This affords a look into what life is like for a Trill after separation from a symbiont? We have seen events in Star Trek that have led to the death of the host, but the idea of losing that other consciousness and living with it - what would that feel like?

So, on the one hand, as an audience, we would be delighted to see Jadzia return. Think of the reunion with Worf, and the exploration of what's happened in the past thirty years of history. Then, would this Jadzia have any interest in meeting Ezri Dax? Or vice versa? Would it be too difficult for Ezri to look into her former host's eyes, knowing they both share the memories of her death?

There was so much handled incorrectly about the way Jadzia Dax was written out of Deep Space Nine that a resurrection could very well be the reckoning that Terry Farrell fans have sought for years.
