10 Star Wars Shows That NEED To Happen
7. Missing planets: a horror series
How cool would it be if Star Wars took a darker, more sinister turn? The galaxy definitely has the depth to explore the possibility of adopting different genres, and for horror lovers, it could be really special to see a series of one-off tales set in the Star Wars universe that really tries to be scary.
Just like the MCU is doing with the Doctor Strange sequel, it would be amazing if Star Wars flexed its muscles and decided to dip its toe into the world of chills and fright. The potential is endless, and the amount of stories that could be told is almost too exciting to think about.
What would happen if a rebel pilot crash landed on Dagobah and found himself being haunted by the creatures of the swamp mist? How would it play out if a Coruscant civilian found themselves being stalked by a vicious killer through the neon urban streets in a psychologically thrilling chase? And let's not even consider what would happen if a killer droid got let loose on a Star Destroyer ship.
Horror is a gold mine of a genre that Star Wars has never tapped into, and that is a massive shame. Space is a cold and dark place to be, and we think it would be great to see the scarier side of the stars.
