10 Star Wars Shows That NEED To Happen
2. Mace Windu: the younger years
Okay people, this one would be special!
Mace Windu is simply one of the most awesome Jedi masters of all time, and undoubtedly one of the best things to come out of the prequel trilogy. An entire show about him, we think goes without saying, would be a treat for just about everyone.
But there would be a more productive reason to having a Mace Windu show than simply just admiring his slickness, as it would largely benefit the autonomy of the character.
Why does the most badass Jedi have a purple lightsaber? Why does he hold a swagger and power that none of his peers seem to possess? Why does his guidance always come with attitude and coldness?
Of course, these traits are usually linked to the desires of the man who portrayed the character, Samuel L Jackson, but wouldn't it be great to see ownership of these traits by the character through a show about the young and boisterous Windu? We could see the struggles and tragedies that shaped the young man and ultimately led to his sombre and icy exterior - we could watch as a man is moulded by pain and sacrifice into a strong and immovable force.
Seeing the character as a separate entity to the iconic man that played him would do wonders for the character, and besides, who wouldn't want to see a young Windu mastering his powers, killing droids, and being a complete BOSS in the process?
