The mysterious creature lurking at the heart of Satellite Five causing the disappearance of the station€™s inhabitants in Nu Who€™s seventh episode is our next pick. To give it its full title, it€™s The Mighty Jagrafess of the Holy Hadrojassic Maxarodenfoe€ although it looks very much like a gigantic slug to us. A gigantic slug that€™s controlling the entire media of the human race, however€ reducing the Fourth Great And Bountiful Human Empire to docile drones. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qc-qgK7F6sU Only capable of communicating via sharp-toothed grunts and squeaks, the Jagrafess is nonetheless a classic €˜hidden mastermind€™ type in Doctor Who€™s eclectic rogue€™s gallery, and its grotesque, gelatinous bulk makes it by far one of the weirdest creatures to have appeared in the show.
