6. Hank Vs. Walt Showdown Season 5, Episode 9 Blood Money
This is the moment viewers of Breaking Bad waited years for. Hank wormed his way into the hearts of fans in an elegant, five season evolution from lovable lug and cocksure cop to the closest thing this show had to pure hero. His investigative fits and starts into the drug kingpin known as Heisenberg displayed a boffo combination of Walts arrogance, Jesses boneheaded anger and Guss methodical digging. Each week he seemed to inch closer to the truth, only to be rebuffed by the world at large, circumstance, luck, or his own insecurities. It took something as simple and, appropriately to character, crass as bathroom reading material for Hank to put it all together. Once Walt suspects that his brother-in-law knows he is "Heisenberg", he does exactly what we expect an arrogant Walt to do. He pops by for the face-to-face meeting 55 episodes in the making. Hank is ready to greet him with a snarl and a right cross, but it is Walters intimated threat that strike the hardest. Tread Lightly.
He writes half-baked novels and twitter fiction. He makes short films for contests. He plays mostly unheard music. He painted something once, and it was... okay.
