This year, MTV brought us, not one, not two, but three series of Geordie Shore: the show we and everyone else loves to hate. If you've yet to see this brilliantly and grimly addictive reality TV show then let me explain the concept: based on the American show Jersey Shore, this spin-off takes a hilarious look at the inhabitants of English North Eastern city Newcastle upon Tyne, which has something of a reputation as a so-called "party city." In 2013m thankfully, the gang didn't just stay in England (possibly because almost every local business and bar in Newcastle refuses to allow them access,) they jetted off to various locations such as Amsterdam, Prague and Barcelona, which, as usual with this Geordie lot, involved a lot of partying, drinking and "pulling." If you're ever having a bad day and you need to feel better about yourself then stick on Geordie Shore and you'll feel like you're the most succesful, sophisticated person in the world, even if you're watching it in your pants, eating days old food. It may be crass and stupid but this certainly isn't a bad thing when it provides as much entertainment as Geordie Shore: just don't expect to be any sharper after it.
