10 Terrible Glee Musical Numbers

4. A Little Less Conversation: Elvis Presley

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j89JnZ-9mLc This strange Spanish twist on this classic Elvis song has no musical merit whatsoever. You may think that because I have included a few Will Schuester songs on this list that I really hate the guy but this is simply not true, and he has some really good covers in Season 1. But from season 2 onwards the writers haven't known what to do with Glee and they haven't really given him any good songs to sing (apart from his duet "You and I" with Idina Menzel in Season 3) either. This song, and the whole performance of it was an embarrassment and difficult to sit through. In all fairness to the show, this performance was supposed to be somewhat bad, and Santana even calls him out on this fact, but that doesn't make the performance any better (maybe just a little more forgivable though). Matthew Morrison who plays Will is a very talented Broadway star with killer pipes. This song, or at least the songs arrangement doesn't suit his voice and doesn't allow him to show off the talent he has. Considering this was one of only a few times Will got a chance to sing in Season 3 it is an utter disappointment to the very few Will fans the show still has. It is a shame, considering that Will was the main character in the pilot and kind of a big deal in Season 1 that his character has almost been completely forgotten in Season 3 and 4... however if they simply can't think of any thing good to do with him or any good song for him to sing they really should just get rid of him completely.

I am a recent Screenwriting for Film and Television graduate from the UK. I am an unashamed geek who loves everything Marvel, and anything Joss Whedon has ever touched (except for maybe Alien Resurrection and Titan A.E). My current favorite TV shows are Breaking Bad, Family Guy, House of Cards, Game of Thrones, American Horror Story, Homeland and Glee. I look forward to debating things with all of you in the future.
