10 Terrible TV Doctors You Wouldn't Trust With A Cold

2. Dr Tim Whatley (Seinfeld)

Jerry's dentist Dr. Whatley is a recurring character on Seinfeld who pops up in a number of episodes, played by Bryan Cranston. Oftentimes, his interactions with Jerry outside of the dental office strain their relationship and cause Jerry extra discomfort when he returns to have his teeth seen to. In one of his first appearances, Jerry accuses Tim of converting to Judaism just so he can make Jewish jokes without getting any flack. Taking offense, Dr. Whatley deliberately prolongs an already uncomfortable on Jerry to get back at him. The biggest strike against his character as a dentist however is in the episode entitled, "The Jimmy." In it, Jerry notices that Tim has started to include adult magazines as reading material in his waiting room. Kramer informs Jerry that there is also a new "adults only," policy in place. Later when Jerry goes back to the dentist, he insists on having gas rather than the Novocain that Kramer received, and Dr. Whatley joins him in taking a hit before administering the gas to his patient. Upon waking up, the first image that Jerry sees is that of his dentist and nurse putting their clothes back on. Not an ideal guy you'd want for your dentist. Unless you like to be violated while you get your teeth done. And by a re-gifter no less. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iMLKbXuv-xA
