10. Dr Nick Riviera (The Simpsons)
Let's get the obvious one out of the way first. Perhaps the most well known terrible doctor out there is Dr. Nick Riviera from The Simpsons. Acquiring his degree from the Hollywood Upstairs Medical College, Dr. Nick is Springfield's resident quack doctor, offering cheap, yet immoral medical procedures. Setting the mould for awful TV doctor, Dr. Nick has been involved with the Simpson family on a number of occasions, most famously performing Homer's triple bypass surgery, where Lisa had to help the clueless doctor through the surgery.
