Hear me out. Yes, Lost got a bit crazy at the end and lost a few fans as a result. But, wouldn't it be great to start from fresh?
Maybe there could be a whole bunch of new interesting and emotionally draining characters that could also end up on the island with connections to the past series and potentially ex-cast members (looking at you Hurley and Mr. Eko).
The new series could also resolve some of the plotlines that were never resolved properly or at least explained in full. For instance, what about the numbers? Could they be changed? What's the deal with Walt? Surely it couldn't just be the fact that the child actor had a growth spurt? And what's going on with the four-toed statue.
We need explanations.
