10 Terrifying Anime Villains That Gave You Nightmares

Villains in My Hero Academia come in all varieties. Take Stain and Shigaraki for instance. Both are dramatically opposed in ideology, with one wanting to bring back the glory days of heroism and the other aiming to dismantle the status quo.

The difference between Overhaul and Stain, Shigaraki, or even king villain All For One, is that none of them would sink to the level of this sick Yakuza wannabe.

Eri is what the kids would call, a cinnamon roll. She's truly innocent in every way. What Overhaul did that makes him stand out as the most terrifying villain of the series is literally cut into that innocence over and over harvesting this poor girl's blood to fuel his criminal empire. That is some serial killer level sick right there.

There is no excuse or justifiable reason for what he did, but the fact that he did it for profit adds to what makes Overhaul so awful. At the end of the day, while he may have lead himself to believe it was for a dream, his actions were for nothing more than blood money. Like any great villain, he was convinced that the glorious ends justified such cruel means.

As villainous as it is to say, Overhaul deserved everything that came his way.
