Jim Parsons has acted for many years and he absolutely loves what he does. Now 41 years old, he's a veteran of the trade, having appeared on stage, on television and in movies. He appeared in no less than seventeen plays whilst he was an undergraduate student at the University of Houston in his native Texas and was a founding member of Infernal Bridegroom Productions and regularly appeared at the Stages Repertory Theatre. However, it was a small role as the Kolo-Kolo bird in a school production of Rudyard Kipling's The Elephant's Child when he was just six years old that gave him the acting bug - and from then on Parsons was determined to become an actor.
