Throughout the Tapes, there are a few shocking moments (aside from the actual grisly murders) that paint Bundy as one seriously devious individual. One of the earliest comes when we find out he burrowed his way into the Department of Emergency Services, an agency concerned with searching for missing young women, as he readied for a career in law and politics.

Later, he escaped custody more than once and used his cunning to influence countless people. It's a tapestry of deceit, lies and subterfuge that'd make Bundy the ideal case study for the FBI. Netflix did miss one rather stunning detail out however.

Ted once helped operate a suicide prevention phone line in college.

Let that sink in for a second. One of the world's most evil serial killers literally talked people off the ledge and told them they had enough to life for. Some of his classmates on the scheme even disclosed that Bundy was damn good at his job.
