10 Things Netflix’s Ted Bundy Documentary Left Out

Stephanie Brooks, who's later under the pseudonym Diane Edwards and is referred to as such by Bundy in interviews, was Ted's sweetheart in college. Whilst the topsy-turvy nature of their relationship is examined, there's a lack of consistency in the storytelling, and the filmmakers make no attempt to tie Brooks/Edwards into Ted's killings.

That was a bit of a miss.

Look at the pic attached to this entry. Each young woman featured shares a few things in common, not only with each other but with the photo of Diane shown in the series. There's a defined middle parting in their hair and a generally smiley look. That wasn't a coincidence.

Bundy blatantly targeted women and girls who bore some resemblance to one he could never have. The Netflix doc fails to link anything about Ted's heartache from his break up with Diane to his eventual killing spree.
