10 Things The Simpsons Taught You Better Than Your Parents

3. Happiness Is In The Little Things

64 slices of American cheese. Happy little elves collectibles. Jub-Jub. Roller Coasters. Duff Beer. A pacifier. Yes, happiness is in the little things. Your mom and dad probably painted the big picture pretty well, but did they bother to mention this? The Simpsons is good at the little details sometimes. Lisa's Sax is the perfect example - an instrument, a gift, that meant a ton to a little girl. The gift that showed Lisa's parents really cared about nurturing her. Maybe a better example of how important the little things can be - Bobo. Mr. Burns beloved teddy bear. Hold on to the little trinkets, post cards, photographs, and all those other memories. Even if they're not physical, the little things mean a lot.
