9. Theo Gets A Hair Cut

No one cares that Theo looks like he belongs more in a Beatles biopic than a fantasy drama, but it is obvious that hair is hiding elven ears and we all know it. After his mother (Bronwyn) trades seeds with him (really hoping that wasn't meant to be a visual metaphor...) there is a poignant conversation between Theo's father (sorry, Arondir) and his colleague Médhor about how the only two "pairings" of elves and humans ended up in death.

Now, this is a bit confusing. Do they not know about Elrond or his brother Eros? They probably should, the latter did create Númenor, after all. They had human and elven parentage, and that didn't end tragically...

Back to Theo. It is established early on that he doesn't know what happened to his father, just that he run off a long time ago. Then again, he doesn't seem to know Arondir either--referring to him unfavouringly as he approaches the family home. Finally, notice that, in pretty much every action shot he features, Theo's hair remains impossibly in place?
