9. Thomas Gets What's Coming To Him
The opening episode of series 4 saw the sudden departure of Miss O'Brien, leaving Thomas without a sidekick for his misdeeds. Towards the end of the series we saw that Thomas was up to his old tricks, this time manipulating new character Miss Baxter into snooping around to acquire information for him. For the show's fifth series, it would be nice to see Thomas on the receiving end of someone else's schemes for a change, and perhaps we might actually see him learn a lesson! Interestingly actor Rob James-Collier , who plays Thomas in the show, said in an interview with Jonathan Ross that the reason he thinks his character is so evil is because he's forced to stay in the closet, so maybe what we need in order to see a change in Thomas is for him to find love, which in itself would make for a great storyline in the show's upcoming fifth series.
