8. Ivy And Daisy Form A Destiny's Child-Esque Girl Group
Let's face it, the women in the Downton Abbey haven't exactly had it easy when it comes to matters of the heart. First Daisy was in love with Thomas, although it turned out she "wasn't really his type", then she ended up a widow after six hours of marriage. Then Daisy fell in love with Alfred, who was actually in love with Ivy, who it turned out was actually getting strung along by Jimmy (and let's not even go into how many hearts Mrs. Patmore must have broken over the years). What we'd like to see in the future is Ivy and Daisy realising they're independent women who don't need a man, preferably joining together to record the 1920s' Northern answer to Destiny's Child's Survivor as a lesson to young women everywhere. Of course, the whole thing won't matter unless they can rope in Downton's very own answer to Beyoncé in the form of Mrs. Patmore on backing vocals. Now that is enough to guarantee we'll be tuning into series 5...
